Repentance, change, and growth are all central to the Christian life. The call of Jesus to deny ourselves, take up our crosses, and follow Him is one that assumes change. Repentance is the starting point of change (humanly speaking), and thus we must get good at repentance. David gives us much we can learn about repentance from his broken-hearted prayer of repentance in Psalm 51.
