September 2011
The month of September has been an incredible month in the life of Southern Hills and as always we are eager to share with you the ways that God is blessing us.
On Thursday, September 8 we began our weekly Bible Studies. We had worked hard to invite our neighbors, but we had no idea who would join us on that first week. That evening we had about fifteen adults come and we had a great time getting to know one another and fellowshipping around God’s Word.
During the month of September we completed a four-week study on who Jesus is. Each week we had new people join us as we took time to compare the world’s view of Jesus to what the Bible tells us about who He really is. At the end of each week our team was more encouraged and more excited about what God is already doing through Southern Hills.

As we transition into October we are going to build on the “Jesus Is” series as we begin a study of the book of Colossians. We are looking forward to expanding our view of who Jesus is and how He expects His people to respond to Him. Please pray that we will be faithful with the Gospel and that our friends and neighbors will be open to the life-changing message of Jesus.
God is continuing to bless us and we are praising Him for the opportunities that He is giving us to share His Word and His message with those around us.
